Track

I am on the Festus Middle School Track team. My faveorute thing to do in track is sprinting. at the track meet on Tuesday I was in the sprint medley relay and my team got third place. Next time I aim to get a higher place. I am also really excited for the conference meet on Monday. And if you dont make the conference meet you will be in the relay meet on the fifth of May. I cant wait untill the nest track meet!

Weather Broadcast

The first broadcast weather report was in St. Louis in 1921. When i want to find out about the weather i turn to the news channel on my TV. Accurate news information is important to me because i would like to know if going somewhere is safe. I was going to go to the movies but there was tornadoes warnings all around and that's one way I am affected by weather. The past few days would have been different if the tornadoes didn't hit because so many peoples home were destroyed.

Uplifting

 Booker T. Washington said, " If you want to lift your self up, lift someone else up". I think what he meant by that was if you want to do something have other people try it with you. I have applied this in my life before when i wanted to do soccer and asked my friend to try it with me. Also it has been applied to me in the past when my friends encouraged me to do track. I will apply this in the future if someone is wanting to do something but they aren't sure what to do and i will help them.  That's what I think Booker T. Washington meant by that quote.

Hi. My name is Kalyn. I am a sprinter in track. I also love to play soccer, basketball, and softball. I played soccer for two years with my friend. Now we both are in track. Its my first year in track and I really love being out at the track running . I also like going to West City park to watch my brother's soccer practice. I love going to the park to play softball or soccer with my family. And sometimes during the summer my family and I go to see a Cardinals Game. I love watching and playing sports with my family and friends. Cant wait to share more!
