Technology Class

This quarter in Technology was very stressful for me. Technology isn't really my thing so it was hard to keep up. I got confused a lot and it wasn't helping me. I really wish we had more time to do things in this class. But I did enjoy the typing tests because I thought it was interesting to see how fast I can type and how accurate it was. I hated when the computers got messed up too because when it comes to this i have no patience at all. But over all it was an okay class.

Christmas

I am so exited for Christmas this year. I always have the best times on Christmas. On Christmas eve we dress nice and go to church and meet up with the rest of the family. After church is over we go to my grandparents house and we eat. Later when everyone is finished eating we get to open presents and me and my cousins play and laugh and make jokes. When it gets late we go home and go to bed. In the morning we get up, eat breakfast, and open presents. After that we go to my aunts house which is really big and we eat over there and hang out. I love Christmas.

Lemp Brewery

Around Halloween my dad took me and my friend to the Lemp Brewery Haunted house and we were so exited to go but when we got there there were creepy people out there with chainsaws and I got really freaked out. The guys would follow you and make weird noises. I wanted to leave really bad but my dad pushed me inside. I had to be in between my friend and my dad. I was screaming my head off when we went in and right away the people would jump out at you as soon as you got in there. It was really freaky and they followed you. I cant remember a lot of it though but it was really fun.

The Seven Doors

If I could pick one door out of seven to go through I would pick the third. Im hoping it leads me to Narnia. I imagine that when I go through the door the there will be a closet the I have to go through and when I go through it its snowing. everything is as clear as the eye can see and its even more magical than I imagined. there waiting for me will be a little man and he will take me in and protect me from any harm in Narnia.

The Change

I do see a change in the two pictures. The picture from 2005 has everybody sitting and watching and the picture from 2013 has smart phones and iPad s and everyone is recording what is going on. The world is different because of this. people now experience things differently now than they used to because they have all kinds of electronics. I think this is a good change because you can always remember things.

Technology is okay for me. Its normally not my best subject but i dont get super bad grades in it from what I can remember. I hate doing power points too because it takes forever. And I get very frustrated with the computer sometimes.

Bullying.

BULLYING!!! Bullying is not cool. It can really hurt people's feelings. It can contempt to them to commit suicide, or overdose or even cut them self.
Like for instance, my friend made a video and posted it on Facebook talking about how shes done with Facebook and etc. People were calling her names and stuff. I try to tell her to not let them get to you but sometimes it is just so hard to not because you know its not true.

One day as I was walking I came upon a very strange creature,who could talk. I asked the strange creature Are you from planet earth?? The strange creature says yes. If, i woke up in a room with 7 doors I would chose Hogwarts because I love harry potter and it would be really cool to be able to cast spells and spy on people. Best friends!

It's always good to have that one friend that will always be their for you when you're down or just need someone to talk to. In my case I have two that i can really trust and know will always have my back and i have there back to and we tell each other everything and trust each other. Their names are Kendra Ann Mayes and Yasmine Haynes. They are always their for me and i am lucky to have them because some people don't have this kind of person in their life. I understand how sometimes your friends come and go but this isn't like that i know we get into fights but we always forgive each other that's how much we care and love each other as a friend. I just wish they lived with me to have every moment with them to hangout because we have the funnest times ever and we will always make each other laugh. Sometimes your friends will come and go but that's how you find your true friends.

One day when I was walking I saw a mysterious tape measure.!!! "hhhuuu". When I went back later that day it was missing. I went on a secret mission to find out who stole it?? I walked around the alley where I found the tape measure, and I saw a couple people so I studied them very carefully. Turns out it wasn't them who took it. It was a girl named Justice Haught. I asked her why she had taken it and she said because it was cool looking and because hers had ripped and she needed to finish her outfit and she said she would give ti back to me when she was done I said OK deal..!!

Stranger Danger!!

I saw my best friend Katlyn. I don't know why Katlyn was here because we were suppose to hang the day before but she ditched me, and I really wasn't expecting her to come at that time because I was kinda mad at her at the time. I went outside and talked to her and she was apologizing and I said i can't believe you would do that  and especially come this late at night I mean you woke me up in my freaking sleep.

Message Bottle

The memory I would bottle up is when I first met my best friend Yasmine. Me and Yasmine met when she rode her bike down the road because I was sitting down with my friend Bhrea. Every since then we have just hanged out everyday I know me and her have been through a lot of fights, but we have passed that along us. We have gotten into one physical fight,and we skipped school once and regretted that. Losing a Binder

Never lose a binder. you will have a heck of day trying to find out, and your day will just get worse and worse and worse, like you have no ideas. You can look everywhere and even in the lost and  found. If your smart enough you will retrace your steps from the day before.

Yes, i can spot the difference. The difference is we use more technology now than we did eight years ago. I think this is a really significant change because in 2013 they are using cell phones,tablets,and the laptops. The world is different because in 2005 people aren't taking pictures or recording videos on i phones,or i-pads. Drama Queens

Why do people have to be drama queens,tell everybody lies, and start rumors??

Well, most people think it will make them cool ,but what they don't understand is they can really hurt someone bad. It will always be on social networking websites like Facebook, and Instagram. After that they will bring it to school ans start it even more but I don't understand why because the whole world doesn't need to know everything! It just aggravates me and makes me really mad because i have really mad anger issues and cant deal with all that.! I'm not going to mention any names because they know who they are!!  It really upsets me how they will do this to my friend and her mom but they are kinda like a family to me! We have known each other for three years but it feels like we have known each other forever especially because we have been through a lot! And when I say a lot I mean a lot. I have 6 true friends that i can really trust, and they trust me. They are Katlyn, Kendra,Yasmine,Justice,Chandler,and Audrey, I love them to death! I'm not gay but i love them as a sister.!! :)

Technology Class

Technology class was definitely different. We got to use computers every day, which I love to do. We did some fun projects like the scavenger hunt and the picture we got to make on the computer. Also, I learned a lot of stuff about technology, and I also can type really fast now. I can type about 45 WPM. One thing I liked a lot was the TImed Typing Test. They allowed me to track how much progress I made in typing, and they were fun. One thing I didn't like was the definitions and sentences. That is what I think of Technology.

My cast

I am so exited for this afternoon. I get my cast off if everything goes well. I've only been in my cast for two weeks, but that's because the injury happened two weeks before I got it on. How I injured well it was pretty painful. I was taking some fly balls, and I was running back on one and crashed into the fence. I was lucky I hit my wrist first because my face scraped up, and my gums were bleeding. If I would've hit my face first, it probably would have been pretty bad. But when I went to get X-rays, they said they were negative. So I only took a week off, and then I played two baseball games, which probably wasn't the best idea. Then a few days later, it started bothering me a lot again so I went back for X-rays and the doctor said it was broken. I still think it was pretty cool that I played two games with a broken wrist.

Rewind or Pause Button

If I had to choose to have a rewind button or pause button in life, I would choose the rewind button. With the rewind button, if I messed something up, I could redo it. The pause button would help because you would get more time to react to something, but I think the rewind button would be the most helpful. I would never do anything wrong with the rewind button. Like in baseball, if I got out or made an error, I could hit the rewind button and redo it. Also, in basketball, if I missed a shot or made a bad pass, I could just redo it. That is why I think the rewind button would be the best choice.

The Curse

There once was a treasure chest. Supposedly, if you opened it, you would be cursed. The curse was that nothing good would ever happen to you ever again. I didn't believe it one bit, so I decided to look for the treasure chest. When I finally found it, I was  nervous. I decided to open it anyway. When I opened it, nothing happened. There was just a lot of gold. I took the whole treasure chest home. When I went home, I examined the gold and went to bed. When I woke up, I only had nine fingers. There was also a note on the treasure chest. It said, every day you keep that treasure chest, you will lose parts of your body. If you return it with all the gold, you will get your finger back. So, I decided to return the treasure chest.

The Door

I found myself in front of seven doors. I was told that I had to choose one door, and one door only. Each door lead to something different. They led to Narnia, Neverland, Wonderland, Hogwarts, Camelot, Middle Earth, and Westeros. I chose the last door because they always save the best for last. I was so wrong though. I chose the door that lead to Middle Earth. It was actually the Middle of the Earth. It was really hot, and there was nothing there besides the Earth's core. I really wish I could have chose a different door. I really wanted to go to Narnia, but that didn't happen. Never choose the last door.

The Rams Draft Pick

The Rams selected Tavon Austin with their first pick. They traded up from their 16th pick to 8th pick to get him. Tavon Austin is 5 foot 8 1/2 inches. He is very fast. He is a wide reciever, but he can also play running back. He was the first wide reciever taken in the draft. The Rams also got Alec Ogletree. He is an inside linebacker. He is pretty good. They got him with the 30th pick in the draft. I think that the Rams drafted some pretty good players.

The New Monitor

 

I got a new monitor at my seat in technology. I do not really like it. It looks cool, but it is smaller. Also, when I type, the monitor sort of shakes. The whole thing just does not feel right. The picture on the screen (RAM) is too big for the monitor. It shows that the zoom is at 100%, and that's what I had it at on the last monitor. It also is really slow. When I was on it yesterday, it took forever to load a picture. I just don't like the new monitor at all.

Measuring

The picture of the tape measure makes me think of Baseball Tonight. At the end of every episode, they do a segment called Going Going Gone. They show the homeruns that were absolutely crushed. It also shows how far the ball was hit. The farthest one that I remember was 482 feet. That was in an actual game. The farthest homerun that I've seen hit was in a homerun derby. Prince Fielder hit the ball 504 feet. He crushed it to the upper deck. When he hit the ball, he almost fell backwards because he was transfering his weight.

Matt Adams

Matt Adams, in my opinion, is the best player on the Cardinals. He came up to the MLB last year for a few games, but was in Triple-A most of last year. He had about a .330 batting average, and had 30 homeruns. He has a lot of power, but he also has a good average. This year he is in the MLB, and he has over a .600 batting average and has two homeruns in not even two weeks. He also has over five RBI's in the two weeks. Matt Adams is the best player on the Cardinals.

My Bottle Of Memory

The memory that I would choose is when my team won state. It was really exiting. To get to state, we had to play Kennet. In the last game, we were down 12 in the second to last inning. We ended up coming back and beating them. Then, when we went to state we never lost once. I would only open the bottle when I'm feeling blue, or having a really bad day. Because that was one of the most exiting memories in my life so far.

My Baseball Team

I joined the the St Louis Padres last January of 2012. We were a pretty good team, and in are first tournament, we took second. Then we didn't do as good until we played at Affton, which was the only tournament we won that year. The championship game got cancelled because of rain, but we won the tournament because we were first seed. Then, after the season ended, 3 really good players on are team quit. We were looking for players in the offseason while we were trying to join the Ballyard. We ended up joining the Ballyard and we had to change our name to the Rawlings Recruits. Also, we picked up some good players to fill the spots of the people that left. Our team got really good over the offseason, and I think this will be my best baseball year yet.

Electronic Changes

The difference between the two pictures is the electronics. I think that there is a significant difference in the eight years. The world is changing from the electronics. Instead of having to take pictures with the big cameras, you can take pictures with your phone. I think that it is both a good and bad change. I think it is a good change because it makes it easier to contact people, and you can do different things on a phone than just call.

Dear Mrs. DeBolt:

I want you to get to know me better. I want you to know that I'm in love with sports. I play baseball and basketball. I like to watch football, baseball, and basketball. I'm not a college fan except for basketball. My favorite sport is definatley basketball.

I also get good grades in school. Communication Arts is one of my worst subjects, but i get A's and B's in it. I'm in Pre-algebra, and I get A's in it. Im also in select choir and NJHS. My favorite subject is gym.

Now I want you to know about my computers experience. I can operate computers pretty well, and I can type somewhat fast. I can type about 30 WPM. I've already learned a lot more stuff about computers since I started taking this class. I also like operating and being on computers.

The things i like in this class would be the projects, and always on computers which it is computer class The one thing i dislike is that we cant bring home our project worksheets, and time typing test. You should keep everything the same, and the stuff i want to go is nothing.This was one of mi favorite classes.
